Please reference information below as needed for rental event.

Insurance Liability
Liability Insurance is required for all rental events. Please check with your local insurance agent to see if your policy covers your upcoming event.
(Please note: Certificate of liability insurance must name Smoky Mountain Event Center as secondary insured)

Alcohol Policy
Any event serving alcohol must have on site security (provided at clients cost by SMEC) and must obtain a special event permit from North Carolina ABC Commission. Please CLICK HERE for more information on how to obtain a special event ABC Permit.

Amplified Sound
Any event with amplified sound (such as a D.J. or Live band, must comply with county noise ordinances. Additionally, sound monitoring personnel will be provided (by SMEC at expense of client) for duration of event to ensure sounds levels are kept within reasonable range and county ordinances are met.
